Everlane ReNew Fleece Sweatshirt Review
This fleece pullover is from Everlane’s ReNew Collection which they’ve dubbed “outerwear with an outlook.
Clothing from this unique collection is produced entirely from plastic water bottles, with exception to zippers and trim. Their commitment is no new plastic in their entire supply chain by 2021.
Everlane Fleece Sweatshirt: How Does It Feel & Fit?
Everlane’s fleece sweatshirt is super warm and comfortable with a relaxed fit. The material is soft, almost sherpa-like to the touch. I have no idea how it’s made almost entirely out of discarded plastic bottles.
In terms of fit, the sleeves are a bit longer than I’d like, but I think the shirt is meant to be looser throughout the body, arms included. I get that it’s a relaxed fit, but it’s still a little bit too roomy in the chest and body for my liking.
The sweatshirt is still wearable and may even shrink a little bit in a wash and dry cycle. If anything the relaxed drape is perfect for lounging around the house on a lazy Sunday.
