The luxury sneaker market is pretty crowded these days with brands like Common Projects, Maison Margiela, Off-White, Lanvin, Balenciaga — the list goes on.
Koio is the new kid on the block — made in Italy and based out of New York City — they made their grand debut in 2014.
Check out the video below where I unbox, give my initial impressions and wear on feet, the Koio Capri Arena Low Top Sneakers. You can also take a look at my review of the Koio Primo Roccia high top sneakers.

Right out of the box, the sneakers have a premium feel. The suede feels as good as it looks. The rubber is solid and feels durable. The shoe has a nice weight to it, not light nor heavy.
What I love about the shoes is that they are minimalist, clean and simple sneakers, but have some kick to it with the subtle suede pattern and off-white “sand” colorway.

KOIO SNEAKER SIZING
I opted for size 8 which is my normal sneaker size. On the website the shoes are said to run a little large which is odd because for me, they’re true to size. They perhaps even run a tad bit small, but not tight. It’s comfortable from the get.
They retail for $248 and as far as I’m aware, offer no sales currently. At this price, these sneakers are extraordinary value IMO.
There you have it, a super quick showcasing of the Koio Capri Arena sneakers. If you liked this post, feel free to check out other Gentleman Within unboxing articles.
A note: Koio sent me these sneakers to unbox on camera. These are all my thoughts and opinions based on my experience. Gentleman Within holds all control over editorial content.
