The aptly named RoseGold & Black is a jewelry and accessories brand that creates modern pieces using the base colors of Rose Gold and Black.
Every piece either comes in a combination of or is detailed in rose gold and black. Navy and white are colors also used in some of their collection.
You may have heard about RoseGold and Black (RG&B) as Jose Zuniga of Teaching Men’s Fashion has partnered with them for a while now.
RG&B is the new kid on the block, founded sometime around early 2016 if my memory serves me correctly. Funny story, I met one of the founders, Angus at StyleCon 2016 (now Menfluential), up at the Glenn hotel’s rooftop SkyLounge in downtown Atlanta. This is the spot where all the cool kids go after the conference to just chill, have a few drinks and make business deals.
Around this time, Gentleman Within was just a seed of an idea in my head and RG&B had just started. If I remember correctly, Angus originally worked with the guys over at The 5th Watches. That night was a blur so I don’t remember much, but he handed me his business card, and here we are today.
My first impression were that these bracelets look classy and are actually quite versatile. I love that the woven leather bracelets are dressy enough to be worn with suits, yet can still be worn more casually as well. The beaded bracelets are more casual, perfect to wear with a t-shirt or track jacket.
And while normally I’m against any type of branding and logos plastered on products, I think the RG&B logo is so simple and tasteful that I don’t mind the engraving on the stainless steel.
It’s worth noting that when it comes to accessories like bracelets, I’m always a little wary because my wrist is pretty small at around 6.5″. And so there aren’t many bracelets that flatter my wrist size.
I thought RG&B’s bracelets would be too bulky, but I was surprised at how minimal they appear. It’s also helpful that you can adjust the size of the bracelet to your liking. Although the woven leather bracelets are still a bit big on my wrist even after adjusting to the smallest size.
ROSEGOLD AND BLACK PRODUCTS
In addition to their staple woven leather bracelets, they’ve got a bead collection as well.
The bead bracelets are adjustable, one size fits all, from 6 inches to 7.5 inches, while the woven bracelets are adjustable from 6.5 to 7.9 inches.
They’ve even got some slick black and gold necklaces which continue with the minimalist theme, including some plated with 24KT Gold.
RoseGold and Black makes some killer accessories. Personally I am a fan of simple pieces and RG&B is clean and simple in spades with a touch of class and elegance, perfect for a modern-day gentleman.
It’s also interesting that RG&B is based out of Melbourne, Australia. I would have never guessed. Currently, I’m in Sydney and considering a quick few days visit down to Melbourne, so I may go pay them a visit, who knows.
A note: RoseGold and Black sent me these products for unboxing purposes. Any thoughts and opinions are always my own whether I’m compensated or not.
Onto you. Would you rock RoseGold and Black bracelets?
Let’s continue the discussion over in the Gentlemen Within Private Facebook Community.
Looking forward to seeing you in there.
